Geocache Description:

*** NOTE *** A visit to Oak Valley today found that there are very limited picnic tables. As we don't know if this will be rectified in time, please bring lawn chairs to the event.

The GEOCACHERS OF EASTERN ONTARIO (GEO) will be running a Family Picnic event on Saturday April 24, 2010 beginning at 3:00 PM following the morning's CITO (GC23WRF). This Picnic will be taking place at Oak Valley Pioneer park, maintained by South Nation Conservation Authority.

Following the Picnic theme, you are encouraged to pack a picnic lunch for you and your family (If you aren't bringing the family out, your local geomobs could make a great substitute!)

There will be a Prize for the most creative Picnic. Music to "Groove" to, and games for the Kids! This will be a great opportunity to mingle with other cachers and rehash the days activities. What could be better - Cachers ! Kids ! Music! Food! Prizes! and fun, all at a little known park! Hope to see a crowd!

The picnic judging will be based on the following:

The Judges are being ordered to consider the following and weight their decision on the following basis.

1/ Theme -" "Geocacher's Picnic" can you digest a micro?" 0-5 points for theme.
2/Tastiest - " "Yum ! I'd bushwhack 700M for this picnic" " 0-5 points for tasty
3/Pretty - " Mrs Bucket's Riparian Feast" You have to have watched the show. 0-5 Points.
4/ Sharing " Miss Congeniality" Feed the poor starving Geocachers. 0-5 Points.
