Passing the big pile of sand and the place where the age of flight was born...cruise on thru the Brew Thru...make your way on up the beach road...visit the pier, be nice to the old crone at the gate(sometimes it's an old fart), find the SHARK, (or the camera view in NEW VIEW below) turn around and waive to the webcam while you call a friend with a computer.
Have them go to THIS SITE
and save a photo of you in front of the SHARK(or whatver is in the camera view at the time you are there).
Then post the photo with your log and that's it! All you need is a car/bike, a friend with a computer, a mobile phone (or set up a time you will be there when they view the page) and your GPS...unless you know where this pier is.
NOTE: The format used in on the webcam site is may be .bmp--this will need to be changed to .jpg in order to be uploaded to this page. If you can't convert it just e-mail it to me and I'll do it for you--thanks!

NOTE: This Cache is only accessable spring summer and fall as the establishment housing the webcamera closes for the winter. This year it will re-open on MARCH 15 so until then you will not be able to access this webcam cache...however...in all fairness...if you journey to the pier you can feel free to log this cache with pics of you standing outside the pier on the sand withe the pier and/or ocean in the background.
NOTE: When viewing a topo-map of this area on Topozone.com, the site can only be viewed at 1:100,000 scale...don't ask me why...?
