I can't believe no one has put a cache here. This structure SCREAMS put a cache on me. So, Cool!
Maffitt Reservoir is named after Dale Maffitt who was Des Moines Water Works' General Manager from 1933 to 1955. The reservoir was built during World War II.
This structure is used to service the dam and regulate the lake's water levels.
