An easy cache using a magnet key box on the Elroy tank.
The tank is in a war memorial park. Be sure to check out the memorial after you find your cache and remember the men and women who sacrificed life, limb, time, and effort for you!
I believe a wheel chair could get right up to the tank. However, it would probably be necessary to stand to some degree to reach the cache, which was placed in such a way as to avoid accidental discovery by neighborhood children.
Please make sure no one is watching. This one seems to disappear often. Thank you and God bless our Veterans.
Warning - some folks have had trouble with paper wasps. We checked it out and had no trouble, only seeing wasps going in a hole way up high on the tank on the LEFT side. Stay on the RIGHT side of the tank. The cache is about chest level on adults, so stay on the ground. This should keep you away from the wasp nest. Please note it in your log if you experience any trouble with wasps even following these guide lines!
