Another great section of land under the guardianship of the WI DNR. This place has several types of terrain including grass lands, forest, and great views of the river. Take the time to explore.
The original container was purchased at a rummage sale by our 13 year old grandson; his idea was to fill it with 'kid' stuff and place it where our 4 grandkids could check on it when they come up to visit us. Hope you like the location.
The ammo can disappeared and was replaced by a large coffee can filled with goodies. That also disappeared and has been replaced with a smaller coffee can - also filled with goodies. This time it's placed closer to the road where it is out of the way for hunters.
The Geocache Notification Form has been approved by Kay Brockman-Mederas at the Wisconsin DNR. Geocaches placed on Wisconsin Department of Natural Resouce managed lands require permission by means of a notification form. Please print out a paper copy of the notification form, fill in all required information, then submit it to the land manager.
