Parking available at N42 50.465 W88 25.412 Very dog-friendly, can be off-lead certain times of year. Use lots of bug spray for ticks and watch for poison ivy and sumac. Cache was named for a location, then moved and re-hid in another place that hopefully "fits" it's name :) Can trade small swag.
Very dog-friendly area, can be off-lead during certain times of year. This one originally got it's name from the crazy trees that had surrounded the first cache location and reminded me of a petrified forest. We had to move the cache a bit, but there are still lots of crazy looking "spooky" petrified trees along many of the paths in this area. Can trade small swag. Bring and use bug spray and check and re-check for ticks on you and your geo-dogs. Watch for poison ivy and sumac.
The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to Walworth County office of the Wisconsin DNR. Geocaches placed on Wisconsin Department of Natural Resource managed lands require permission by means of a notification form. Please print out a paper copy of the notification form, fill in all required information, then submit it to the land manager.
