Welcome to the 7th Annual Metroparks Geocaching Adventure 2010,
ageocaching game placed by MiGO members in partnership with the
Huron-Clinton Metroparks. In order to complete the series, you will
need to find the 11 caches hidden in the different
Metroparks.

Inside the cover of each Geocache you will find two words. These
are to be placed on the appropriate spaces of a crossword puzzle
found on the Metroparks Geocaching Adventure 2010 Brochure found
here. We will be holding a geocachers picnic at Willow
Metropark on September 11th. Watch the Metroparks Geocaching

The cache is located less than 30 feet from the trail so
bushwhacking further than that is not necessary and is discouraged
to reduce impact on the environment.
You will be taking the paved hike-bike rail that takes you along
the Huron River and past the sites of the many mills that were once
located here giving this place its name. As you proceed down the
trail you will see signs of annual renewal currently taking place
and also signs of a longer-term renewal that is very gradual but of
a more durable impact.
You are looking for a regular sized clear container that has
plenty of room for trading items. Please trade fairly or trade up,
or just sign the logbook. Most of all, enjoy your time here.

This cache is located
within Hudson Mills Metropark, a part of the Huron-Clinton
Metropolitan Authority park system. A Metropark Vehicle Entry
Permit is required: Annual Permit $25. Senior Permit $15. Daily
Permit $5.

Dogs on a leash are allowed in this section of the park.
VERY IMPORTANT: The hours for Hudson Mills Metropark are
7am - 10pm daily April 3 to October 31 and 7am - 8pm daily November
1 to April 2.
