Geocache Description:

This cache is accessible year round and located in the beautiful Laurel Highlands of SW PA.

The listed terrain rating is based off using mechanical means to get within 100-200 yards. Depending on where you start your trek and how you get to GZ, your terrain could be as high as a 5 (IE. Start at the ski lodge and hike).

Please note; there is water near GZ. If caching with small children be careful. Also if caching in the winter, the ice is never thick enough to hold people or pets.

The cache is a well hidden bison tube. It contains only the log sheet. Please bring your own pen/pencil. While the cache does not contain any goodies, it does provide wonderful views of the Laurel Highlands. On a clear day, you can even see the higher buildings in downtown Pittsburgh.

This cache is accessible by car if you know the roads. Parking in the upper lot and following the Laurel Highlands Hiking Trail is an option; however, the terrain rating will be more than 1.5. During the fall, the resort often runs the chair lift (for a fee), which provides easy access from the main resort area to the top.

Congrats to "Garmen (& Women) Group" on the FTF!
