PLEASE READ: This is a special type of cache called a Wherigo, a GPS-enabled application that allows you to play interactive games, tours and other experiences in the real world. You need to download the cartridge, and it requires a compatible device (Garmin Oregon, Colorado, or a GPS-enabled Pocket PC) to play.

Will it work on my regular GPSr? No, sorry. Try to make friends with somebody who has a compatible device.

Regner Park Wherighost


Summary: According to legend, many ghosts roam Regner Park, including a sinister-looking man holding an umbrella, a father and daughter at the playground, a forlorn woman at a bridge, a boy in a baseball uniform, and strange shadow people in the woods. Occasionally, citizens have reported seemingly random numbers briefly appear on the digital scoreboard. Recently, it was discovered by a local geocacher that these numbers are actually coordinates to a geocache! Five ghosts watch over this cache, and when they all meet together, their combined electromagnetic energy reveals the coordinates to this haunted cache.

Your mission: Find and capture all 5 ghosts around Regner Park so that you can harness their paranormal energy to light up the scoreboard with the cache coordinates. Are you ready to become a ghost hunter??! Good luck!

Duration: Allow about 1 hour to complete this Wherigo.

Tips for using this cartridge:
SAVE YOUR GAME OFTEN! When you are playing this game, I recommend saving your progress frequently, such as after the completion of every task. This will help avoid frustration when your player crashes which it might. The device manufacturers seem to still have bugs to work out. Let me know if you have any problems. I tested it on my Garmin Oregon.


Regner Park opens at dawn and closes at 11pm in summer. Permission granted by West Bend Parks and Recreation.
