Geocache Description:

Inspired by RattMatt's Shotgun Rules, I 've decided to create some caches highlighting some unwritten rules of geocaching. These rules are in no particular order, other than how the popped into my head. Please feel free to comment on the rules in your log or offer suggestions on additional "geocaching rule" caches

Rule: Muggle - the appropriate use of the word 'muggle' is when one is referring to someone who is not familiar with geocaching. The word's origin comes from the Harry Potter series in which the term refers to a person who lacks any sort of magical ability. While the term is a classification, and does not imply good or bad, most assume once a muggle discovers a cache, they will take it. Many times this is not the case, but has led to a negative view of muggles. This may explain why some people incorrectly use the term "muggler". It may also come from a cross between a muggle and mugger.

The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to John Meyer of the Wisconsin DNR. Geocaches placed on Wisconsin Department of Natural Resource managed lands require permission by means of a notification form. Please print out a paper copy of the notification form, fill in all required information, then submit it to the land manager. The DNR Notification form and land manager information can be obtained at: (visit link)
