Capt. Ed: Health reasons...

This cache is part of a series intended to showcase Wisconsin’s Rustic Roads (W.R.R.). Wisconsin Legislature established the Rustic Roads program in 1973 to preserve what remains of Wisconsin's scenic, lightly traveled roads.
R77 begins at the Coast Guard station and the light house at its southern end and parallels Lake Michigan. Many types of trees including cedars, maples, white birch, and pines line this route along its entire length. A municipal park also borders R77. It was from this spot that early native Americans "portaged" from Lake Michigan to Sturgeon Bay before the ship canal was constructed.
This cache will be hidden in the right-of-way somewhere along this Rustic Road. Parking will be limited and traffic may be a concern at certain times as these roads do attract tourists - so take care. Once GZ is realized, the hide should be quite obvious. BYOP. Please replace the cache as found. Have fun and thanks for coming. Note: This cache is winter friendly.
