Located near the petrified forest loop trailhead on the west boundry of Theadore Roosevelt State Park south unit
Located near the petrified forest loop trailhead on the west boundry of Theadore Roosevelt State Park south unit, this cache is a nice little warmup prior to making the hike into the park to see the amazing petrified forest. watch out for bison, rattle snakes and catcus during your travel on the trail. before seeking the location of this cache, make sure to visit the visitor center/ranger station at the park entrance for a map. it should be noted that the terrain may be more challenging if the conditions are wet.
