Geocache Description:


Just before a recent eye appointment a friend told me about comedian Brian Regan and I watched his YouTube video about going to the eye doctor. Once I got in the chair, the Tech started the usual routine, asking me the following question. “Tell me which one is better” “1 or 2” “2 or 3” “3 or 4” I could not answer; I just started laughing. I explained why I was convulsing with laughter and it turned out they had seen the video at a training class and could relate to it also. The Tech left and sent in the Dr.

I told the Dr. I was having trouble reading small print. And he went thru same routine, “A or B” “B or C”. I was determined not to start laughing again and get the appointment over. He casually asked me what I had been doing for the past year. I simply said “Playing a stupid little game”. He politely asked what game. After replying GeoCaching, his eyes lit up and he spun around on his little stool. He said he had tried that but was using the GPS on a phone and still had not been able to find a cache. He had talked his wife into taking the boys to the park several times until his wife figured out that he just wanted to find the cache and had spent the afternoon in the bushes. I told him Fathers Day was coming and he needed to ask for a real GPS and join the fun. Dr. D. said my prescription was fine and that I needed to stop trying to read the names on the little pieces of paper I found in the woods.
Hopefully by placing this cache close to one of his offices he will be able to finally log a smiley and join us in this addiction.
