Geocache Description:

T.O.M. has many interesting properties. This area was aquired by the town several years back and puts you in the middle of a delicate situation. Muggles surround you when you pull into the area.

Please pull in only as far as it takes to get off the road and WALK the few feet to the cache.

This very public area looks private but does extend to the lakeshore if you can fight through the buckthorn.

Do Not Pull up the the cache.

Tread lightly, be friendly to the neighbors as they are now aware of the cache and bring your own writing utensil.

History of the Secret Sliver:

The previous owner passed away leaving the strip of land to the T.O.M. that legend has it, had hoped to put in a boat landing which the neighbors weren't too keen on. A neighbor had been promised by that owner that he could buy the property but the transaction never took place and somehow the T.O.M. got the property.

The Secret Sliver sits quietly, sliding into time.
