Geocache Description:


I am a transplant to this area. I learned quickly that The Pine Cone Travel Plaza is legendary to locals and those just passing through. It is a great rest stop half way between Milwaukee and Madison. Many truckers stop to recharge their batteries here nightly.
The name of the cache refers to the excellent pastry items found in the cases in both the gas station and the restaraunt. There are eclairs the size of Buicks, elephant ears the size of...well elephant ears. Muckfire turned me on to the apple fritters - simply outstanding! I have left for many fishing trips before dawn to stop for a cup of joe and one of those bad boys.
You are looking for a nano cache, so please bring a pen. This place is always busy, so please be stealthy while finding. There are mugglers galore.
