Geocache Description:

I grew up coming to this island for vacations with my family. My grandparents own a small peninsula on the opposite side of the island that we visit as frequently as possible. We really enjoy coming and being able to truly relax on this great little island and we hope you enjoy visiting as well. This cache is placed in a park with a great view of Cape Lookout Lighthouse. This side of the island is known as "Shell Point" though I don't see too many shells when I'm in this area. We've included a hand carved wooden fish that was purchased on the island. Please place cache back exactly where found so it won't be muggled and remember "cache in, trash out." Thanks and we hope you enjoy! ***Congrats to 19eagle81 and SeaGlassSeeker for the co-FTF!!!***
