Sweetie's Satchel Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

Braid Beard's gang: I fondly recall placing these caches with my then 8-year-old daughter. We spent quite a bit of time walking this area finding the perfect spots for her Pokemon friends. Just before dusk, we noticed some thunder clouds forming to the southwest. We finished placing the caches. When we returned to the car/minivan. We climbed atop the roof, shared a coke and a candy bar, and watched the clouds and lightning strikes in the distance. It was not until later that we heard that that the storm produced a large tornado in Eagle, WI.

A lot has changed in those three plus years. Sweetie the Pokemon trainer most likely has been long deleted when the game was sold at a rummage sale, along with all the cards and figurines. She does not cache with me more than once a month at best anymore. I thought it appropriate to archive this series, so that others can create a memory.

The one thing that has not changed is that this is a great place to take a hike.

All containers and props have been removed.

LOST

Sweetie's Satchel

Description

Sweetie is a Pokemon trainer and geocacher. She knows that a leather or cloth Satchel would never protect her items from the elements. Her Satchel is an ammunition can clearly labeled as a geocache.

Contents

This cache contains: a ftf prize, new fishing lures, deck of cards, protective outerwear, various toys, and pirate's gold. Sweetie asks if you find her satchel leave it for others to find, but remember to ,"trade up, trade equal, or don't trade".

A novice Pokemon Trainer, Sweetie, came to the DNR Leow Lake unit for a little training and adventure with her favorite five pocket monsters.  The area proved to be too difficult for her.  She lost all of her Pokemon along with her satchel filled with valuable items.  In order to find the satchel, all five of the lost Pokemon must be captured.  They hold valuable information to the location of the satchel.
