After noting the number of Travel Bug Hotels, Motels and Luxury suites that keep popping up I decided, just for fun, to create something different for our hard working and constantly moving Travel Bugs & Geocoins. If you do not have either, feel free to leave any type of coin. (Foreign, Nickels, Dimes, State Quarters, etc) The more interesting the better but whatever you have in your pocket will do just fine. This cache should be easy enough to find but at the same time muggle resistant. It doesn't look like too many people go out that far beyond the mowed area. Trails to GZ have grown over during the 1½ years the rest area was closed, although it's possible you may see my trail from when I performed maintenance on 10/23/2019.
To access this cache, go North on I-57 from Peotone or any other point South. The best parking is toward the south side of the rest area, with the cache being only about 300 feet away from that point. The weeds are high and the ground is a little uneven when you get beyond the Picnic/Dog walking area. You are looking for an ammo can.
