Leži na desni strani Savinje na nadmorski višini 445 m. Ime nosi po cerkvi sv. Mihaela na njegovem vrhu. Zgrajena je bila v letih 1637 do 1641. Spada med najpomembnejše kulturne spomenike v porecju Savinje. Njena edinstvenost je v dvostolpni zunanjšcini ter v kamnoseških in rezbarskih detajlih, v katerih se prepletajo gotski elemeti z renesancnimi prvinami.

It lies on the right bank of the river Savinja, 445 m above the sea level. It was named after the church of St. Michael’ s on its top. It was built between the years 1637 and 1641. It belongs to the most important cultural monuments in the basin of the river Savinja. It is unique in its double-tower exterior and stone-cut and carved details where the Gothic elements interlace with the Renaissance ones.
