Sid the Sloth's
Hide
Sid the Sloth, Diego the Saber Tooth Tiger, and Manfred the Woolly
Mammoth were walking along Wisconsin's Ice Age Trail when they
decided to have a cache-hiding contest to see who could hide their
stash the best. They each went in different directions to place a
cache. This is Sid's hide. He liked this spot on the IAT because
there was an informational sign here about Ray Zillmer, who founded
the Ice Age Trail in 1958. It took Sid so long to read that he ran
out of time to hide his cache, so he quickly placed it nearby. Sid
thinks his hide is awesome, but he's a little clumsy and lazy so
Manfred and Diego found his cache easily. Can YOU find the
Sloth's Hide?
You can read the Woolly Mammoth's Hide GC1VK8V to get the full story about their
Ice Age contest!
Geocache notification form sent to the Ice Age Alliance as well as
Terry Jensen of the Wisconsin DNR.
