Geo 101 class at Kettle Moraine State Forrest Southern Unit.
Come one come all to the Kettle Moraine State Forest Southern Unit. Learn how to use billion dollar satellites to find Tupperware in the woods. This is a geo 101 class for campers and everyone who shows up. Learn about geocaching and different types of caches found while using satellites. Located in the beautiful Kettle Moraine State Forest Southern Unit; the meeting place will be Ottawa Lake Campground Amphitheater at 2:00pm. There will be temporary caches set out for people to find and loaner GPS units for people to use. Bring your own in case you want to explore the Southern Unit. A state park sticker is required to get into the park.
This event is sponsored by the WGA come join the WGA and have some fun and learn about the wonderful sport/ hobby we call geocaching.
Update: We will also be having a compass class to show how to use a compass while Geo Caching. So even the experianced cacher can learn something new.
