Gate 43 Traditional Geocache

 Portti 43 on suorassa linjassa luoteeseen osoittavan kiitotie 2:n kanssa. Portilta voit nähdä kiitotien laskeutumisvaloineen ja lennonjohtotornin. Lentokoneita laskeutuu matalalla suoraan pääsi yli silloin kun tämä kiitotie on käytössä. Yleensä tämä tapahtuu kentän ruuhka-aikojen ulkopuolella. Tämä portti on vähemmän tunnetulla lentokentän pohjoisosan kiertävällä reitillä. Moottoriajoneuvojen käyttö on kielletty tällä yksityistiellä. Suosittelen maastorenkain varustettua polkupyörää koska tie on karkea. Katso reittikartta ja lisäinformaatiota Google Mapsista.

Reitin itäisestä alkupäästä kätkölle on matkaa noin 2 km. Reitin läntisestä alkupäästä matkaa kätkölle on noin 1 km mutta siellä ei ole pysäköintipaikkoja.

Kätkön tilavuus on noin 3 dl. Siinä on riittävästi tilaa muutamalle pienelle travelbugille. Kätkön avaamiseksi ei tarvitse käyttää mitään työkaluja. Kätköstä löydät vinkin (lue spoilerin) kätkölle "Kadonneen haudan mysteeri" GC2DRCV ja päinvastoin.

 The gate 43 is located inline with runway 2 which is heading to northwest. From the gate you can see runway with approaching lights and airfield control tower. Planes may land right over your head at low altitude when this runway is in use. Usually this happens at off-hours.

The gate belongs to not so well known northern route around the airfield. Using of motor vehicles is blocked on that private road. Bicycle with all terrain tyres is recommended because the road is rough. See this route map with some extra information from Google Maps.

From the eastern trailhead you have to hike about 2 km to the cache. From the western trailhead you have to hike about 1 km to the cache but there is no parking facilities.

Cache container volume is about 3 dl. There is enough space for some small travel bugs. To open the cache you do not need to use any tools.
