The monument commemorates the 500 years of the discovery of Puerto Rico. It is a monument in honor to the earth and clay of America. This monument is near El Morro and behind it there is a stand where you can buy piraguas. There is a plaza near with a statue of Juan Ponce de Leon. Warning: Careful with muggles. There is a scenic view from different areas of the plaza. There is a pin for the FTF.
