This is a micro container hidden along the Cedar River.
The family was out kayaking down the Cedar River with some friends when we decided to plant a cache on one of the beaches we stopped at. We did our best to make it flood resistant, because the river has been known to be much higher than it was when we planted the cache.
This cache is in Cedar Bend Park which is owned by the Bremer County Conservation Board. It may be possible to get to this cache by land, but we cannot guarantee that. We doubt there is a trail or any kind of road coming close to the spot. The goal was to create a challenging cache for folks out there.
