TOLGRAVSTENEN

Tolgravstenen är ett ovanligt flyttblock därför att naturen har placerat den stora stenen uppe på ett antal småstenar så att den stora stenen är upphöjd från marken ett tiotal centimeter. Den stora stenen ser verkligen ut att balansera på de små stenarna.
Flyttblock
Flyttblock är stora stenblock som följde med inlandsisen när den rörde sig. När sedan isen smälte blev de stora stenarna kvar långt från den plats där de ursprungligen kom från. Flyttblocken kunde röra sig långa sträckor ett exempel på det är det kända blocket ”Der alte Schwede” som finns i Hamburg som man tror har flyttats ända från Småland.
Flyttblocken i Sverige har flyttats med inlandsisen under den senaste istiden, Weichselistiden som slutade för ca. 11 600 år sedan.
Det finns massor av flyttblock i Sverige ett av de mest kända är Gustav III:s block som står mitt i Hagaparken i Stockholm. Sveriges och kanske världens största block är Botsmarksblocket utanför Umeå det är hela 10m högt och väger ca. 21 000 ton.
För att logga denna cache behöver du:
1.Uppskatta blockets höjd.
2.Uppskatta ungefärligt antal småstenar som håller upp blocket.
3. (frivilligt)Ta ett kort på blocket och bifoga loggen. Det är trevligt men ej obligatoriskt om du själv är med på bilden

Eng: Tolgravstenen is an unusual glacial erratic (erratic block) because that nature has placed the large stone on top of a number of small stones, so that the glacial stone is lifted from the ground about ten centimeters. The large stone really seems to balance on the small stones.
Glacial erratic (erratic blocks)
Glacial erratic are large boulders that came with the glacial ice when it was moving. When the ice melted, they were large stones remain far from where they originally came from. Moving blocks could move long distances, an example of such a block is the famous "Der alte Schwede" located in Hamburg, which is belived to have moved from Småland, Sweden.
Glacial erratic in Sweden has been moved by the ice sheet during the last Ice Age, Weichselistiden, which ended for approx. 11 600 years ago.
There are lots of glacial erratics in Sweden.One of the most famous is King Gustav III's block that stands in the middle of Haga Parken in Stockholm. Sweden's and perhaps the world's largest block is the Botsmark block in the surrondings of Umeå, it messaures a hight of 10m and weights approx. 21 000 metric ton.
To log this cache you will need:
1.Estimate the height of the block.
2.Estimate the approximate number of pebbles that hold up the block.
3.(optionally) Take a photo of the gallatic block and attach to the log. It would be nice but not obligatory if you are on the piqture to.
