This cache is for fit people. To reach the cache you will have a car ride followed by a walk. Take a water bottle in summer and a bush walking stick for balance will help. The terrain difficulty is due to slippery gravel in summer and slippery soft ground in winter.
I will give you two approaches to the cache, one a longer walk up a moderately steep hill and the other a shorter walk but down a very steep slope - there is no ‘easy’ way to the cache. You can make this walk into a 5km circuit if you follow the directions in the final cache. The circuit with caching time included will take about two and a half hours.
Directions: From the above co-ordinates look between and beyond the palms for a tall bluestone spire. Near the base of this structure is a plaque mounted on a spherical object. From the information on this plaque, you need to assign letters to the following numbers:
- 1 = word 8, letter 3
- 2 = word 20, letter 2
- 3 = word 16, letter 10
- 4 = word 17, letter 1
- 5 = word 14, letter 3
- 6 = word 5, letter 2
- 7 = word 9, letter 6
- 8 = word 12, letter 1
- 9 = word 7, letter 5
- 0 = word 19, letter 1
Now drive to S37° TR.OLU’ E142° UC.ORW’ where another container will give you a choice of an uphill walk or a downhill walk.

We were absolutely honoured to be asked by his family to adopt his two caches so that his dream may be kept alive.
