Located in Glen Flora's community park, near the water tower.
Another one of Rusk County’s great little Villages, Glen Flora is an interesting place. The community is known for being the home of Artisans Inc., a screen printing and embroidery company that employs 150 local individuals. The Artisans Outlet store is a popular stop for visitors to the area. Local celebrities include Jimmy Boy Edming, who owns the local gas station. His celebrity status and name recognition can be attributed to his former business Jimmy Boy Pizza company, his political efforts, and his preference to travel in a Model T.
The Glen Flora park is a great little park, and has new play equipment, bathrooms, and little league field. The park also hosts Glen Flora Days the last weekend in July, which includes the Hog Rodeo – something everybody should see. Teams compete against each other to be the first to corral a hog from the outfield to touch home plate.
