Not far off the trail. I prepared this cache container some time ago after having some work done at the house. I decided it is time to get it placed.
The area is known to flood with a heavy rain, but don't worry, I fixed it so that the cache won't float away. Bring a writing stick.
A couple had a son, and they gave him the name “Odd.” Odd never liked his name because people always made fun of him. Out of sheer determination, Odd became wealthy, but people still made fun of his name. So, as he grew old, he gave strict instructions that his headstone was not to bear his name.
This tactic was unsuccessful, though, because whenever someone walked through the graveyard and came across his grave, they would look at the tombstone without a name on it and scratch their head and say, “that’s odd!”
This cache made me think of that joke. Sorry.
