Trail head for the newest extension of the Central Iowa Trail system, which connects up with the McVay trail and the summerset trail
This is located in one of Indianola's little jems of a park.
Jerry Kelley is a long time resident of Indianola. He has spent many years as a school teacher in the public school system.
After retirement he ran and became Mayor of our fine town, serving for 15 years before getting beat out in the last election. As a mayor he was instrumental in many improvements to the city infrastructure and management. He was and still is totally dedicated to the interest of the city.
This area was one of his pride and joys with many improvements made during his tenure.
