The town of Doon, Iowa is named after the River Doon, a stream in Ayr County of southern Scotland. The river was made famous by Scotland's national poet, Robert Burns in his narrative poem entitled "Tam O' Shanter."
Take a stroll through the park, check out the veteran's memorial on the west end of the park. How about some great food at the Corner Cafe or Doon Steakhouse? !! We like our little town. Check it out while you're here. :-)
Son Jerron hid this cache in the heart of "Bonnie Doon." It is a small container, and holds only a log. BYOP.
This is in a high traffic/muggle area. If there are any near, take care.
