dpo: When this cache disappears, It REALLY disappears, and it took its fire hydrant hiding spot and a few bushes along with it.

Its been a nice long run for this hide, but when they replaced the old original neon Sands sign with a LED power saver a few years' ago, it kinda killed the mood and meaning of why I placed it. Thanks to all the many, many visiting cachers and hundreds of conventioneers who got a Smiley here.

When the famous Sands hotel and casino was closed and imploded, Frank Sinatra took it personally and was highly disappointed that anyone would feel the need to tear down such a classic, historic place in Las Vegas.

This cache will take you to the only part of the Sands hotel that was saved and built into the Venetian. You'll know it as you approach, It looks even more impressive if you seek this cache early evening as the lights of Vegas come on as the sun sets for the day-

Cache is log only, bring your own pen and like any cache, please replace as found. Sorry about the lack of parking, but enjoy a short walk from the Wynn or Palazzo and bring your camera.

Im making this one pretty easy to find since the goal is to let you see some vintage neon that escaped the wrecking ball.

Cache is on the sidewalk, not casino property. No bushwhacking needed. Read the hint.
