I came upon this tranquil little spot along the trail that deserves visiting. Within less than 100 yards of trail you will pass through a small grove of Balsam Firs, cross a wooden bridge over a narrow stream and enter a hardwood forest. In the center of all of this there is a bench where can stop for a rest or sit and ponder your thoughts.
