Located on the outskirts of the Kinnickinnic State Park. No Parking along the roadway here. Use the parking coord’s below (lot is at the very bottom of the hill, just off the road). Since this is considered part of the State Park, a daily or yearly park sticker is required. From here you can follow one of the fishing trails to the cache location. Just a short walk – matchstick container awaits and should be accessible most times of the year.
The area along the Kinnickinnic River is host to a number of endangered plants and wildlife. One of them is the American Peregrine Falcon. It’s a beautiful bird – hopefully you’ll have a chance to see one. Enjoy the area.
