Geocache Description:

Located in Sedona off of Dry Creek Rd. Turn right on 152. You can park at the red rock pass parking lot. It's about a 1.3 mile hike to the trail head. If you have a high clearance 4x4 vehicle you can drive right to it. From the trail head parking lot it's roughly a 1.6 mile hike round trip. You will need a red rock pass to park. It is $5 a day or $15 a week. A Red Rock Pass is required when recreating on National Forest land in Red Rock Country, a high-impact recreation area.

We placed this cache for our 1 year anniversary. Sedona was a magical first date so we wanted to commemorate it. It snowed after we placed this cache, a beautiful sight to see snow on red rocks. The hike is moderate and about 1.5 hours round trip from the trail head. There is some steep climbing involved so it's not recommended for dogs although we've heard of some doing it. Bring water a snack for up top and a camera. Cache is small round camo tin with a log and small trinkets.$1 and a mini trophy for FTF. Room for travel bugs :) we have our first one waiting to be picked up. Happy hiking.
