Geocache Description:

You are looking for a roomy lock-and-lock in the Haunted Meadow of Pogonip.

This meadow at the top of The Fern Trail is said to be haunted. Some hikers get their fair share of goosebumps listening to the ghost stories about one of Henry Cowell's daughters.

The story goes that when Henry Cowell and his family owned and lived on Pogonip, the youngest daughter, a teenager, died in a horse and buggy accident when her horse spooked and she was thrown from her buggy while she was driving in this meadow. It's been reported that her ghost, entirely dressed in white, can be seen wandering the meadow on foggy nights.
