Good Old School Days Traditional Geocache

The cache container is a magnetized contacts lens container with a log only. Watch out for muggles, especially from 8 to 5 on Monday through Friday.
The cache is located at the old Mountain View School campus where I attended all 12 years. Most of the buildings are being used today for various government offices as well as several churches.
In the former High School Building which housed grades 7 through 12 when I attended, is the Dorcas Thrift Shop. It is open Wed. through Sat. until 1:00 p.m.
You may want to visit the Senior Citizens Center on Mon. through Friday. It is located in the former school cafeteria.
A must see is the Stone County Historical Society Museum which is staffed by volunteers several days a week during the tourist season. It is located in the old Primary Building which housed grades 1 to 3 when I attended.
The Mountain View Art Guild also has a room in the old Primary Building.
The old gymnasium is owned by the Gospel Opry.
Take some time to walk around the old campus and relive the memories of your school days!
