The coordinates provided above will lead you to the first cache.
Park your vehicle along the road shoulder nearby—you’ll
be returning to this spot. This multi-cache consists of two medium
sized plastic containers, the second of which will provide a set of
final coordinates for viewing the restoration project site from a
distance.
This is a very popular area with locals, and visitors should
exercise discretion when accessing the caches. The caches are
easily accessed a short distance from a flat, paved surface. Though
the caches are not currently near any, visitors should still be
aware that both poisonwood and poison ivy grow abundantly in the
area. The caches should be accessed only during the day, as
the area is closed to visitation from sunset to sunrise.
Security personnel monitor the area overnight.
This multi-cache has been placed with permission from the Miami
Dade Park and Recreation Department for the purposes of outreach
and education. It should be noted that the placement of geocaches
in this park area is otherwise strictly prohibited.
