Geocache Description:

This is a beautiful carving with a beautiful view of the Swinging Bridge and the Iowa River. What a nice place to sit and take it all in! You are looking for a camo painted micro.

Peter Toth carved an Indian statue for every state in the U.S. and there are also several located in Canada. This statue is located in a very picturesque setting overlooking the Iowa River.

The carving was dedicated on July 4, 1979. The sculpture was carved from a locally grown cottonwood tree and including the pedestal is 33 ft. tall. The Indian is wearing a three disced headband and a neck broach similar to ones worn by the local Indian tribes.

This statue also located near the Iowa Falls Veteran's Memorial.
