This cache is located on public property with parking available on the street west of its location. The container is located at a place where vigilance is required during the approach. Because of the location, this cache may be temporarily unavailable during periods of high water.
The container is a large pill bottle containing the logbook and a note to mugglers encouraging them to replace the container. Its re-starting with a $25 Vegas casino chip inside. We've lost two regular containers at this site. Hope the smaller one won't be as tempting to the mugglers.
Bring a pencil. The one in the container may take a lead break.
All the buildings that once occupied the adjacent park were removed from the flood plain in the early 1990s allowing the City of Fairbank to create this great park with walking trails.
