Pokey22: I am sad to archive my very first hide. Went to check on this and it is missing. With no longer living nearby I cannot maintain.

Geocache Description:

Even though this black locust structure is great it serves no purpose here.

This black locust structure was finished by 2007 in Central Park.
I got conflicting reports; one city worker said the structure was paid for with grant money one said it was donated to the city.
The City of Coralville paid around $7,000.00 for the footings.
This is an education structure; the trouble is it was only educational while it was being constructed. There are two of these structures in this area. One structure is near Coralville Central Elementary and the other at Kirkwood Elementary.
Even though there are no thorns on this black locust it is indeed a thorn in my eye, for it is right outside my window. This area was quite nice until …… Maybe if it went somewhere I would feel different. I do not think it was money well spent.
Non school hour parking is available in Coralville Central School parking lot. Do not park in private drives.
Off street parking is available 1 block away.

Congratulations to Keekle & Sons for FTF
