Team_Schnauzer: This is our least visited cache out of our 140+ and the last group to come through here said it was missing. Apparently this isn't a good spot for a hide, so I don't think we'll waste time putting another container out here.

Gravel road P&G located next to the I-35 message board (northbound) and the Ames Sewage Treatment facility. Don't attempt this cache from the intestate!! Please attempt this one from the north because the road south of here is a private drive. Original contents are log only so BYOP
The I-35 message board has been here for a while now. The Iowa DOT placed these in strategic spots where travel may be difficult at times. I have seen them used during Tornado Warnings, Blizzard Warnings, heavy traffic from the Iowa State football games or for an Amber Alert, or even in the event of an accident. The Sewage Treatment Facility to the south is... well... you know what they do there.
