Small container with enough room for small TBs and Coins, placed by the MAGiCians on the route of the Pfälzer Königsweg
Kleines Labor-Ei in welchem genug Platz für kleinere TBs und Coins ist.
Once upon a time, there was a group of MAGiCians, that wanted to follow the invitation of König Dickbauch to take part in the fabulous IV. Pfälzer Königsweg Event. As they were semi-unprepared but thought they should try anyways, they started out with everyone around 5:30 on the morning of 9 April, 2011....
Conquering many many trails and peaks they had a grand time but realized they were not going to make the 50 km before midnight if they kept going at this pace. Being seasoned Geocachers, they figured out a "Shortcut" on their devices that placed them back on the route but cut several km and right on a cosy bench and table by a resting place. Whilst taking a break they realized "there is NO cache within kilometres!" and quickly assembled a container with a logbook, pen and a small toy from the various caching bags... since there seemed to be lots of tree cutting going on in this particular neck of the woods, they ventured a little further and found a nice little new home for their waterproof container, placed it and hopefully made some other cachers happy if they happen to be in the area and are in need of some light caching!
Und es begab sich zu der Zeit als König Dickbauch seine Geocacher zur Begehung des IV. Pfälzer Königsweg Events lud. Die teilweise geringfügig untertrainierten MAGiCians wollten sich dies nicht entgehen lassen, bemerkten aber schon nach wenigen Stunden und etlichen Höhenmetern, daß sie bei diesem Tempo erst um Mitternacht fam Ende der 50 km und dem Event ankommen würden. Also befragten sie ihre OpenStreetMap Versionen nach Querverbindungen und fanden eine Abkürzung "Shortcut", die sie wieder auf die richtige Route führte und für eine Ankunft vor Mitternacht brachte. Beim Rasten an der Hütte die am Ende der Querverbindung gelegen ist bemerkten sie zu ihrem Entsetzen, daß kein einziger Cache im Umkreis zu finden war. Spontan wurden die Cacherrucksäcke geplündert und ein kleiner Wasserdichter Container mit Logbuch, Stift und einen Ü-Ei Spielzeug (ihr mögt uns vergeben!) versehen, der auch ein wenig später ein neues Zuhause fand. Hoffentlich wird er eventuell auch besucht und macht den einen oder anderen Cacher glücklich, der hier vorbeikommt und sich darüber freut.
