Geocache Description:

Abe Rochlin Park is a small “hidden” park that offers many activities including playground, volleyball, pavilion, bathrooms and fishing.

The park is clearly marked, however, it is secluded between a tree line and a canal right at a busy, offset intersection. Those focused on traffic seldom see the park sign or the playground equipment. The park also has a covered pavilion that has bathrooms. The pavilion can be reserved for special occasions.
Also available for your entertainment is a volleyball court. The east edge of the park borders the Fox River and is a very popular fishing area.
At the park entrance stands a historic 100 foot smokestack which is all that remains of the Pluswood Plant that was the former occupant of the property. The smokestack has been dedicated to German workers who came to Oshkosh from Russia.
The park entrance is from Sawyer Street. Bring the kids, fishing poles and picnic basket and have a great time. The cache was placed with some trade items and log and is a small camo plastic box at the coordinates. The parking lot has been plowed in past winters so it hinges on how much snow and how willing you are for a winter find. A special thanks to Parks Director Ray Maurer for permission to place the cache. Watch for muggles!

Congrats to BakRdz and rattledbox for co-FTF and making a new friend @ GZ. It shows that not just one would go caching @ 5:10 in the morning but TWO strangers have a chance meet at a GZ @ 5:10 am! Looks like BakRdz was there a few minutes when rattledbox dropped in before BakRdz could make the find.
