This is a three-part cache; your goal is a micro treasure at the end. This cache was placed on Memorial Day 2011 in honor of all Ozaukee County men and women who served. Enjoy your visit to Port Washington, WI!

Start at N43° 23.494, W87° 52.001
where you will find a flagpole and plaque to honor patriotic men and women. Read the plaque. The coordinates for Step 2 can be easily deciphered using these three clues:
a = the number of letters in the first word of the third line
b = the number of letters in the third word of the third line
Before you leave this location, take a stroll across the street to view another veterans memorial. This one is displayed with a 75 MM Howitzer. Read the inscription. Here you will find the third clue:

Congratulations! At Step 2 you will view a special, historic building that was completed in 1901. On December 12, 1976, this building was placed on the National Register of Historic Places. Read two plaques that memorialize the veterans of Ozaukee County. The coordinates for Step 3 can be easily deciphered using these two clues:
d = One of the plaques is dated 197d and was placed by a drum and bugle corp.
e = The other plaque is dated 19e4 and was placed by the Ozaukee County Veterans' Memorial Committee.
