This cache should not only be hard to find, but extreme stealth may be needed. In fact there may be times when no amount of stealth will be helpful (unless you can turn invisible), time of day and day of the week in the summer will be important in order to give yourself time to hunt. It took several days to place this cache without muggles present.
Early spring, fall and winter will be the best time of the year to grab this one. Let us know what you think of the hide, especially if it's lot easier or harder then we think.
GIFFIN FIELDS are located along Hwy 92 across from Pamida. Giffin Fields are the home for the Winterset Little League teams. Beginning each April, several softball/ baseball teams utilize the 3 ball diamonds and 2 batting cages. Fencing improvements and a new batting cage was completed here in 2009. The Winterset Little League provided a big portion of the funding. 400 or more youth, ages 5 – 12, will play baseball and softball on these three diamonds this season.
