Geocache Description:

You are looking for a bison tube.

This cache is part of the Grammie’s Memorial Cache series. Be sure to take note of the code number on the log sheet. You can log each of these as a find and then seek the final.

My grandmother passed away in May of 2011. During my last visit with her she told me I work too hard and should go out and have some fun. I thought—what better way to honor her and her memory than to place some new caches! She was always good at finding things accidentally, like change on the sidewalk and 4-leaf clovers at the park, so I think she would have enjoyed searching for geocaches as well.

The cache location is in an area that hunters frequent as well. Be sure to wear your blaze orange during hunting season.

All the appropriate paperwork has been filed with Tom Isaac at the DNR.

Update May 2014--Due to the original Lonely Tree being cut down, the cache container has been moved to the new location. Hopefully, surrounded by its new friends, this this tree will be a safe cache location for several years.
