Sudenkorentolampi oikealta nimeltään Enkun Lampi on Mäntysalo
Seuran kunnossapitämä lampi keskellä Mäntysalon asuinaluetta
Klaukkalassa.
Vuonna 2008 lammelta poistettiin pohjalle kertynyt liete ja
ahvenruoho. Tällä hetkellä lammella on jälleen ahvenruoho
villiintynyt, mutta se suo erinomaisen kodin sammakoille,
vesiliskoille ja sudenkorennon toukille. Lammella on ikuistettu
valokuvin ainakin kuutta eri sudenkorento lajia, josta myös tämä
kätkö on saanut nimensä.
Näiden lisäksi voit nähdä lammella city ketun ja telkkä
pariskunnan poikasineen.
Haluan kätköllä näyttää, että vielä löytyy paikkoja, joita
meidän kannattaa suojella ja hoitaa, jotta myös tulevat sukupolvet
saavat kokea ja näkeä näitä eläimiä omassa ympäristössään aivan
keskellä suurempia taajamia.
Joten vietä lammella tovi joko uiden tai valokuvaten luonnon
pieniä olentoja ja nauti elämästä! :)
Kesällä lampi on täynnä uivia jästejä, joten hienotunteisuutta
ja varovaisuutta kätköä hakiessasi!

The Ragonfly pond as known Enkun Lampi is situated in the
middle of Mäntysalo's residental area in Klaukkala. The Mäntysalo
society maintain the bond and the surrounding area.
In 2008 the bond was kleened up and the silt and pond
water-crowfoot was removed. At the moment the pond water-crowfoot
has gone wild but it offers an excellent home for frogs, common
newts and dragonflies larvas. Over six dragonfly species has been
photographed at the pond hence the name Dragonfly pond.
With luck you can run into a city fox and common goldeneye
couple with their covey.
With this cache I want to show you that there are still
places which we should protect and take care of so that the next
generation can experience these animals in their own habitat inside
our cities.
Please, spend some of your time and either swim or photograph
these little creatures and enjoy your life! :)
In the summer the pond is full of swimming mugglers so be
discreet and careful when geocaching here.
