Trinity Lutheran Church of Wibaux, MT began in 1939 when a church building was purchased from the Episcopal Congregation for $200.00. The original building was torn down and a new church was built in 1951. The bell in front of the church was brought in from Carlyle, MT after the Carlyle Congregation joined with Wibaux in the early 1970’s. Several charter members of Trinity Lutheran are still active in this congregation today. Trinity Lutheran Church of Wibaux, MT, Trinity Lutheran Church of Sentinel Butte, ND and First Lutheran Church of Beach, ND now make up the Beach Lutheran Parish, sharing pastoral services but each maintaining their own separate congregations.
