Geocache Description:

An Orange Bottle made of plastic.

Unlike much of what was originally Camp Adair, this is still in use by the military as a gun range and training facility for the Oregon Army National Guard.
Back in the 1940's the troops from Camp Adair, now E.E.Wilson, would hike over to this area for training. The area to the South of Camp Adair became Adair Village after the Air Force deemed it surplus property and liquidated it. The main body of Camp Adair became E.E.Wilson and is ran by the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife,
and the majority of the rest of it went back to farming and private ownership. But this portion has stayed in the hands of the military and has retained the name Camp Adair. It is not at the cache site, but it is located to the south. They only do small arms fire there, so don't expect to go there to listen to cannon fire.
