Geocache Description:

This cache is hidden at Porcupine Hill, the highest summit in Holden.

If you care to make this cache more challenging, consider not using your GPS. You will find the cache located within 10 feet of the highest point along the trail which traverses the summit.

Porcupine Hill is owned and managed by The White Oak Land Conservation Society and was opened to the public with well marked trails and off road parking in October of 2010. Previously, this 50 acre parcel of forest was owned by the Ecotarium and hosted generations of children who learned about the natural world in a summer day camp. White Oak hopes to continue the Nature Training School’s legacy of promoting respect and appreciation for the environment. The trail at Porcupine Hill is open to walkers and non-motorized vehicles. Dogs are also welcome!

You can read more about the area and White Oak here: (visit link)
and here : (visit link)

You will find an information board at the entrance to the trail. A map is displayed here. The coordinates to the cache will be posted here also. When you've reached the highest point on the trail,(our GPS read 1216 feet) start looking for the cache. There is no need to bushwack. The cache is located within 20 feet of the trail. It is hidden in a small Lock and Lock container.
